Main stages of development of Usoliekhimprom - the main Nitol Solar's production facility

1957-1997 – Launch of several products including: oxygen, nitrogen, polyvinylchloride, organic silicon polymers, trichloroethylene and other products. As a result of its excellent production rate and high quality products, the enterprise is awarded several government prizes including “The Red Banner of Labour”.

1956 – The start of the golden period of chemical manufacturing during which new products are launched on a near annual basis; the first of these is the production of hydrogen peroxide.

1944-1955 – Increase of production capacity. Development of Usoliekhimprom is accompanied by the dynamic expansion of Usolie-Sibirskoe. Specialists from all over the country come to work at the site and as a result, the town becomes one of the biggest Russian industrial centres.

1941-1943 – Equipment for chloride production is brought to Usolie-Sibirskoe from the Crimea, Ukraine, due to the beginning of the Second World War. Launch of chloride and caustic production – the only production of these in Siberian Russia.

1937-1940 – Further development of manufacturing and social infrastructure.

1936 – With the manufacture and release of ethyl fluid, Usoliekhimprom (stands for “Usolie chemical production”) becomes the Russian chemical industry’s first production facility in Eastern Siberia.

1933-1935 – Construction of the Usoliekhimprom plant and development of the infrastructure.
