Prof. Strebkov has been working in scientific research for over 40 years. He has led numerous projects in photovoltaic (PV) technology, notably focusing on pilot solar cell and solar module manufacturing and low cost environmentally friendly solar grade silicon technologies. He is author of over 600 scientific publications and 300 inventions, including 25 patents in USA, Great Britain, France, Japan and other countries.

Prof. Strebkov chairs the Russian Section of International Solar Energy Society and is a Vice President of InterSolarCenter. He is equally involved in UNESCO’s Renewable Energy and Rural Electrification. Other academic positions include Full Member of Russian Academy of Agricultural Science and Academician of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences.
